Qualified Solicitor
Have your ID verified and ID1 Form completed by an experienced solicitor registered in England and Wales and regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority.
No Photo Needed
Unlike in person verifications, HM Land Registry doesn't require a photo signed by the verifier when your identity is verified via video. Instead a screenshot is taken and submitted with your ID verification forms. This means you don't need to get a photo taken if you book this service.

FAQs
Do we need separate appointments or can we have our identities verified on the same call?
You can have your IDs verified on the same or on separate calls. Whatever is most convenient.
To have more than one verification done on the same call please add the service to your cart on the product page once, book an appointment and then on the 'Your Cart’ page increase the quantity by clicking on the ‘+’ icon as appropriate.
Alternatively, for a second call, instead of changing the quantity, please return to the product page and repeat the booking process from that point (this will allow you to select multiple appointments).
After booking you’ll be sent a short questionnaire through which you can upload the documents required and provide the information needed to prepare your forms. Please complete this for yourself and each individual whose identity is being verified (or forward the link to them to do so). Please use the same order number when completing the questionnaire.
How do I arrange an ID verification for my co-freeholder?
Many of our clients book ID verifications for their neighbours when they are selling their flat or apartment. This is because while the lease of the flat or apartment is being transferred to the buyer, so is their interest in the freehold in the whole building. The other 'co-freeholders' therefore need to have their IDs verified as well.
You can book calls for your co-freholders on our product page. We recommend placing individual orders for each co-freeholder. Alternatively, you can send them the link to our website so they can pick an appointment and you can pay them back later.
If you choose to book for them, you'll need to either provide your co-freeholder's email and phone number at the checkout stage or forward the follow up emails to them.
Which property do I need to provide a proof of address for?
We will need to see a proof of address for your current address (i.e. the address of where you live now).We don't need to see a proof of address linking you to the property for which an application is being made.
Most clients provide either a bank statement, utility bill or council tax statement.
Do I need to send you passport style photos before the call?
No, there is no need to provide photos.
As the ID verification will be online, a screenshot will be taken during the video call and appended to the forms. This screenshot takes the place of the photos required where the ID verification takes place ‘in person’. As such, photographs are not needed.
What documents do I need to provide? How do I send them to you?
You need to provide either a current valid full passport or a current UK, EU, Isle of Man or Channel Islands photocard driving licence (not a provisional licence).
You also need to provide a proof of address no more than three months old (such as a utility bill or bank statement).
After booking, you’ll be sent an online questionnaire through which you can upload a scan, photo or PDF of your documents.
You'll need your original ID to hand for the Zoom call, but not the proof of address.
I'm elderly and don't have a passport or drivers license. Can you help?
Unfortunately, we cannot undertake an ID verification remotely without having either a valid passport or drivers license.
Though the HM Land Registry process allows for alternative forms of ID to be presented (e.g. a credit card and supporting statement), from a regulatory professional perspective we cannot accept these and complete the ID verification remotely.
How do I join the Zoom call?
After booking your appointment you'll be sent a confirmation email and SMS text that includes a link to the Zoom meeting and the details of the call.
At the time of the call, click on the link. You can join either through the 'Zoom Workplaces' app on mobile or through your web browser on a computer.
If asked to do so, enter the meeting ID and passcode (included in the confirmation email) and click 'join'.
Got another question? Let us know and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
